Michael A. DiMayo, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, Principal, founded The Affluence Group after departing from The Hartford Life Insurance Company, where he was the leading U.S. agent for 28 of his 29 years. While at The Hartford, Mike quickly rose through the ranks to become a regional sales manager for the Baltimore office, along the way receiving numerous awards and accolades for his dedication, drive and years of service. Mike was the recipient of the Ring of Excellence award, which recognized his lifetime achievement for an unprecedented number of years serving The Hartford and its clients. He also was a member of the Red Jacket Club, President's Club, Chairman's Club, Elite Manager Club and Premier Manager Club.

Additionally, Mike has earned the following prestigious designations in the insurance and financial industries: • Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) from The American College • Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) from The American College • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) from the College for Financial Planning His distinction as one of the most successful brokers in the business brings Mike nationwide prominence; it also has helped The Affluence Group build a network of more than a dozen strategically located associate partners across the country. The company's expansive network allows for a more personalized approach to doing business by allowing clients to meet with a specialist in person.

Mike is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, and serves as Board President for the Casey Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization providing uplifting programs for critically ill children. He also is an avid guitarist, and performs with Rossnareen, and High Voltage - one of the premier AC/DC tribute bands in America. Mike resides in Monkton, Maryland with his wife and four children.
